Day Three: Random Act of Kindness
No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted. ~ Aesop
For day three of random acts of kindness, I gave each of my kids one dollar to leave in various places in the dollar bins.
My son chose to leave the dollar in the toy bins. He wanted to wait around the aisle and act like he was shopping to see if anyone would find it before we left. A young boy found the dollar and showed his mom and asked if he could use it to buy a toy. This made my son extremely happy.
My daughter chose to leave her dollar inside a container. It’ll be a little harder for someone for find but she found joy in this as well.
As you can see giving one dollar for someone to find isn’t changing the world. But we saw firsthand it’s putting a smile on someone’s face and we think the world could use more of that.
Not all kindness ideas cost money. We have lots planned you can do for nothing – not even a dollar coming up.
