“G” Verse Psalm 136:1
Psalm 136:1 states, “Give thanks to The Lord for he is good. His love endures forever.” This should be an easy verse to memorize if you listen to Christian music regularly. A lot of the words for Christian music is taken directly from scripture. I love it when I’m reading the Bible and I almost sing the verse and realize I have a verse or sometimes a section memorized and I didn’t even realize it!
Learning by Song
The G Verse is word-for-word the beginning of the popular song “Forever” by Chris Tomlin. The verse we want to memorize is repeated throughout Psalm 136:1 “Give thanks to The Lord for he is good. His love endures forever.”
It could be nice to incorporate some praise music into your memorization time this week especially if you and your children already are familiar with this verse. You can just let the music play and watch the video.
Are you looking for hope, encouragement, and a simple system to keep you connected to God each day, all day?
