Three perfect gift ideas that will guide you into a person who loves to give gifts! The experience gifts, the practical gifts, and the mother of all gifts!
Isn’t giving gifts just the best feeling in the world? The feeling you get when you see the face of the person you’re giving a gift to light up is the best. You instantly know that you’ve done a good job, and you definitely feel better than you do when you get a gift.
But, what’s not so good about it, is the stress you have to go through when trying to find the perfect gift for your recipient. That’s why we’ve come up with three perfect little gifts that you could give to anyone! There are some things you just can’t go wrong with, and we think these are three of them!
Experience gifts are a great idea for pretty much anyone that you’re planning on giving a present to. It’s the perfect option as there are just so many experience days you can choose from. From a pamper day for your best friend, to a personalized day out for your mom, there’s something for everyone.
Most that you buy will be a packaged day that comes with lunch or drinks, so it really is an all-around good present. You can find them on plenty of online websites, you just have to find the perfect one! You can also make your own and involve your children or give these gifts to your kids! In fact, the activity of the month is my children’s favorite gift that lasts all year long!
Giving practical gifts is all about listening to their wants and needs in advance, and making sure that you provide them with it. Make notes on your phone throughout the year of what your friend or family member says they like or wish they had.
If they mention a new kitchen accessory in June, be the person who gets them one in December! If you know they love music, check out the new fads in music and see what awesome music present you can surprise them with.
The Gift of All Gifts – a Puppy
Last year I suprised my kids with the gift of all gifts – a puppy! Even 6 months later, my son would say he thought he was dreaming when he came home to the puppy each day.
Of course, a puppy is a huge amount of responsibility and you will be taking on
some all of the responsibility as well. So while I love the idea of giving a puppy as a present, you have to make sure that the person you’re giving a puppy to is ready to take one on. Which is why you should only give a puppy to an immediate family member.
But dogs are amazing. Once you have one you have a friend for life. They will do anything for you, and you will come to learn that you will do anything for them. Dogs do not have to be bred as a “therapy dog” to give your child comfort when they are upset.
When looking for where to buy a puppy, you could either look at rescue dogs, or you could have a look at places such as South Side Farm if you want a brand new puppy of your own. Just make sure you do all the health checks before bringing them home, and make sure you’re fully equipped to have a puppy in the home!
But watching your little ones face as they realize they’re getting their own little doggo, the response will be priceless!
